## Taking Flight

Introductory camps bring the activity into the community and reach as many people as possible. A week-long program offers activities and training sessions tailored to each group.

- **General Public:** students, adults, families
- **Professionals:** teachers, coaches, and specialized youth workers
- **Operators:** sports and recreation managers

## Daily Flights

# Student Group Initiations

n collaboration with high school, teachers, and the recreation department, we plan a week of activities for students. Each weekday, according to the schedules identified by teachers, groups of youth aged 13+ take part in **2–4 initiation sessions per day**, each lasting 1–2 hours for 8–12 students at a time. This is also when teachers discover **Wind Classes**.

Introductory sessions for adults are held in the late afternoon, when daylight and winds are favourable.

## Specialized Training

# For Instructors and Leaders

Alongside the daily student initiations, some youth learn quickly and naturally become those who help others. They join teachers, recreation leaders, and interested parents in supporting the activity.

- Instructor certification
- Maintenance and repair clinics
- Operations planning: lending, rental, initiations, storage
- Safety and prevention

On weekends, the activity is open to all families. Youth return to demonstrate their skills, parents discover the possibilities, and new instructors gain confidence.

- Demonstrations
- Friendly races
- Coaching and mentoring for new instructors
- Tea and bannock on the ice

# Simple and Easy to Use

Equip your community or school with durable, easy-to-handle gear. Plan quantities according to your needs. Complete sets of 10–12 pieces of equipment in various sizes are recommended to run group initiations of 6–10 participants, accommodating the youngest to the oldest.

- Parawing (Paraski S, M, L)
- Harness (S, M, L, XL)
- Skis (130–180 cm)
- Boots (sizes 7–12)
- Helmets (S, M, L)
